SKSU - ISULAN Campus Library History

The Isulan Campus Library provides adequate space and appropriate facilities to serve the academic community. It is strategically located and it is functional, designed for re-arrangement and future expansion.

The library extension of the 2 storey building is accomplished as a major project of the Parents, Faculty and Community Association (PFCA) from 2005 – 2009. It is in this building where the Audio – Visual Room with 50 to 75 capacities, and on the second floor, the Periodical Section, Theses, Vertical Files and the Electronic Resources are housed and secured. There are 13 internet-enabled computer units to accommodate users at a time. There are 54 seating capacity for the Periodicals section while in the reading area there are 78 seating capacity.

The library is accessible to students and other users outside the academe who may wish to avail its services.

Currently, we can accommodate 10% of the total population of 2,275 at one time. Space is provided for print resources, as well as work stations for Electronics Resources. Space is also provided for the Librarian’s office, Technical Section and Staff Lounge. It also meets the standard – size of furniture and equipment.
