Representatives from Commission on Higher Education (CHED) visited Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) Access and Isulan campus for an evaluation of the Masters in Information Technology (MIT) Program Compliance Certification last Thursday, July 7, 2022.
The honored guests were warmly welcomed by Dr. Reynaldo H. Dalayap, Jr., Vice President for Finance, Administration, and Resource Generation who represented the University President, Dr. Rolando F. Hechanova.
Evaluation of MIT Program documents ensued after the opening program and was followed by an ocular visit to the University’s computer laboratories and library on the Isulan Campus.
After a deliberate quorum, the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) Taskforce presented the result of their evaluation in a post-conference meeting along with their suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the program.
Dr. Reynaldo Dalayap, Jr. delivered the University’s words of commitment, with a promise to comply with the deficiencies of the MIT Program and all suggestions to be taken with great consideration.
Meanwhile, Ms. Marissa C. Hitalia, Ph.D., Dean for Graduate school conveyed her gratitude to the representatives of CHED and the COPC Task Force in her closing remarks which marked the end of the activity.
Members of the COPC Taskforce include Dr. Bartolome T. Tanguilig III, Technical Committee Chairperson for Information Technology, Dr. Jaime DL Caro, Technical Committee Chairperson for Information Systems, Commission on Higher Education – Office for Programs and Standards Development (CHED OPSD) representative Ms. Dedeth Talingdan and CHED Regional Office 12 representative Maria Theresa Magdolot.
