Research Development

The Research Development Office (RDO) is the lead research centre in the University. It is mandated to nurture and sustain the culture of research vis-à-vis streamlining of research policies and procedures, capability development activities for university researchers and implementation of quality assurance measures for university research endeavor. The RDO is under the supervision of the University President, through the Office of the Vice President for Research Development and Extension (OVPRDE). It is headed by the Research Development Divison and Halal Center Director, Dr. Rodelyn M. Dalayap, with the support of the Research Committee (RC), Research Ethics Committee (REC), Campus Editorial Board, Campus Directors and deans of the different campuses and colleges in the university.

A university known for educational, scientific and other technological processes and products in the region.

GOAL

The goal of the SKSU Research and Development Division is to generate and verify appropriate technologies/ information in response to the priority needs of its various clienteles, thereby contribute to the total development of communities in the province, region, and nation. Thus, research and development endeavors shall focus on relevant concerns in education, agriculture, fisheries, environment, health and nutrition, trade and industry, local government administration, and socio-economics.

The University R & D Division continuously registers its research outputs with the Intellectual Property Office. For this year, a total of 15 IP assets were registered.
