As it embarks new challenges on August 12, 2014, Dr. Rolando F. Hechanova, the 3rd President of SKSU took his oath. Embodied by his deep sense of commitment, dedication to public service and unique leadership he was able to soar high SKSU through the spring our numerous infrastructure projects, promotions of faculty through the implementation of NBC 461, Cycles 4-7, more Accredited programs in various colleges by the AACCUP, and more CHED compliant curricular programs, increase passing rate making licensure examination for Criminologist, Nursing, Education and Agriculture has produced topnotchers.

With the Outstanding performance of Dr. Rolando F. Hechanova, he was appointed for another four years as SKSU President on August 13, 2018. With his reappointment, the momentum never stops, it still goes on as it embarks a new chapter.

Dr. Teresita L. Cambel, the second president and the 1st Lady president with her dedication, persistence and strong will, pursued the dream of the University hood. With the collaborative effort, diligence and persistence of all personnel, on January 18, 2010, through a sponsorship by then Cong. Pax S. Mangudadatu, Al Hadj and Cong. Arnulfo F. Go in congress, and Sen. Manuel A., converting Sultan Kudarat Polytechnic State College to Sultan Kudarat State University.

Dr. Nelson T. Binag

Sultan Kudarat Polytechnic State College (SKPSC)

The institution started under the visionary and dynamic leadership of its first and longest serving President, Dr. Nelson T. Binag. Guided by its pragmatic policies his unique leadership brought SKPSC to a milestone. The institution steadfastly offers flagship  programs that help develop home-grown industries through the utilization of indigenous resources and raw materials abundant in the locality of every campus. Later, SKPSC extended its academic affiliations by initiating programs in Senator Ninoy Aquino, Glan, Bagumbayan and Surallah. Then, the Administration Center Central Site and Services (ACCESS) campus was established as its central seat at Brgy. 2, EJC Montilla, Tacurong City.
