ICoNSIE 2024 Concludes with Inspiring Insights and Recognitions

The International Conference on Nature Studies and Innovation for the Environment (ICoNSIE) 2024 concluded its final day with a series of insightful presentations and impactful speeches. The third day of the conference continued with the presentation of various research papers, followed by speeches from two distinguished plenary speakers: Dr. Hugo Alfried Volkaert from the Center for Agricultural Biotechnology, Kasetsart University, Thailand, and Dr. Siva Ramamoorthy from the School of Biosciences and Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology, India.

The plenary sessions provided deep dives into current environmental challenges and innovative solutions, drawing enthusiastic participation from attendees. Open fora followed each speech, allowing for robust discussions and exchange of ideas among participants.

As the conference drew to a close, the event recognized outstanding contributions to environmental research. Best Paper and Best Poster awards were given to worthy presenters.

The highlight of the closing program was the speech delivered by Provincial Governor Datu Pax Ali S. Mangudadatu. Governor Mangudadatu praised the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to environmental protection. He also expressed his gratitude to the Philippine Society for the Study of Nature, Inc. (PSSN) for choosing Sultan Kudarat as the venue for ICoNSIE 2024, which provided the province an opportunity to showcase its natural and cultural heritage.

The program concluded with a vibrant community dance, set to the tune of the newly released “Sultan Kudarat Tayo ang Turismo,” symbolizing unity and the collective effort towards sustainable environmental practices.

ICoNSIE 2024 has once again proven to be a pivotal platform for environmental researchers, practitioners, and advocates, fostering collaboration and inspiring action towards a sustainable future.
