SKSU Palimbang Celebrates 33rd Commencement Exercises

PALIMBANG, SULTAN KUDARAT – The Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) – Palimbang Campus celebrated its 33rd Commencement Exercises at the SKSU Palimbang Gymnasium on June 25, 2024. The event commenced with a grand processional march featuring the Philippine flag and SKSU banner, held by its partner agency, Palimbang Bureau of Fire Protection, and the SKSU mace carried by the 2024 graduation grand marshal, Prof. Randy E. Mayo, setting a dignified tone for the ceremony.

Campus Director Dr. Jonathan P. Roque presented the candidates for graduation, followed by the conferment of titles and degrees by Dr. Jesusa D. Ortuoste, OIC-University President. Awarding diplomas was a significant highlight, with Dr. Ortuoste, Dr. Ernie C. Cerado, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Hon. Roderick Nebrija, and Hon. Alicia Manondog participating in the honors.

The University expressed heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to the 52 Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) graduates and 35 Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) graduates and their proud parents for their dedication and hard work. This milestone is a testament to their perseverance and commitment to academic excellence.

The ceremony also featured a heartfelt commencement address by Ms. Bebeth Talembo, CESE, RSW, MAEd, who, along with other key officials, joined the graduates in dancing to the graduation song “Moments to Memories.”

Following a tribute to the alma mater with the song “Without You,” Marson K. Guaibel led the pledge of loyalty, and Hon. Amil A. Pangansayan administered the alumni oath. The event concluded with closing remarks from Campus Director Jonathan P. Roque and a recessional march to the song “Huling Sayaw,” marking a memorable day for the graduates and the SKSU community.
