Fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSEd-Math) student Grace A. Dignadice and faculty member Rey S. Fuentebilla, MAT, of Sultan Kudarat State University won the PSA Survey Says Competition during the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival for Regions XI and XII, held on September 15–16, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City.

The two-day convention, organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), carried the theme “Ready, Stat, Go! Building Agile, Resilient, and Future-Ready Filipino Communities through Data-Driven Systems.” It focused on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) as an effective tool for inclusive and evidence-based governance, empowering local governments to strengthen decision-making and improve service delivery through reliable data.

Plenary discussions and breakout sessions tackled pressing topics such as localizing data for recovery and risk reduction, women’s empowerment through data insights, spatial data science, and translating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into measurable and meaningful community objectives. The event also featured student research presentations on predictive modeling, environmental data, and other applications of statistics for building resilient communities.

Other SKSU participants included Jan Michael Calawagan and Kristine Tumale, both BSEd-Math 4 students, along with delegates from government offices, academe, and other sectors who actively joined the discourse on building a data-driven society.
