October 9, 2025 – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) proudly participated in the 2025 Provincial Super Consumer Quiz Bee organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region XII, held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, 3rd Floor, Administration Building, SKSU-ACCESS Campus.
Representing the University was Ms. Luzzellie Beatrice S. Doremon, coached by Joselyn C. Estrellan, PhD. The event gathered student representatives from various institutions to test their knowledge on consumer rights, product quality standards, and fair trade practices.
The SKSU team, with the full support of University President Samson L. Molao, EdD, demonstrated the University’s strong commitment to advancing consumer education and empowering the youth to become responsible consumers and advocates of ethical trade.
This initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, which promotes sustainable lifestyles, informed consumer choices, and the efficient use of resources.
Through participation in activities like this, SKSU continues to uphold its mission of fostering academic excellence and social responsibility among its students while contributing to global sustainable development efforts.
