September 27, 2025 – The Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) delegation proudly concluded its participation in the 16th National Campus Media Conference and 3rd International Research Conference on Media and Community Development with multiple recognitions across different categories. The event gathered a total of 1,197 registered delegates from 104 schools nationwide, making it one of the biggest campus media gatherings in the country.
From ACCESS Campus, The Odyssey under the guidance of adviser Noraina M. Aguil secured 9th Place in Best Magazine News Stories, 6th Place in Best Magazine Feature Photos, 4th Place in Best Magazine Development Communication Page, 10th Place in Best Magazine Inside Page Layout, and 9th Place as Campus Magazine of the Year.
From Isulan Campus, The Technopipeline with adviser Realyn A. Pahunar earned 10th Place for I-Documento, 2nd Place in Best Magazine Inside Page Layout, and 8th Place in Best Magazine Development Communication Page.
From Tacurong Campus, The Nucleus led by adviser Divina T. Feliciano made its mark with John Mark Anthony D. Aranas winning 5th Place in Backpack Journalism (English Category).
Meanwhile, from Kalamansig Campus, The ICHTHUS with adviser Rysa Lee Ann O. Salendab also brought home awards: Sam Angelo Lorana (9th Place, News Writing–Filipino), Maynard O. Almacen (8th Place, Editorial Cartooning–English), and Jane Antonette Delena who clinched 1st Place in Visual Journalism (Reels), supported by the technical team of Lorivele Faye G. Amam and Alexis D. Paclibar.
The victories reflect SKSU’s strong commitment to ethical storytelling and media excellence, guided by Public Relations and Information Director Irish Mae G. Pasquin and with the full support of University President Dr. Samson L. Molao.
