November 3, 2025 – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) recognized its outstanding athletes and coaches during the university’s flag ceremony, following their remarkable performance in the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2025 held in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental from October 25–30. The celebration highlighted SKSU’s impressive feat of finishing 6th Overall in Sports, with a total of 22 Gold, 14 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals.
University President Dr. Samson L. Molao personally led the recognition ceremony, commending the athletes and coaches for their dedication, teamwork, and pursuit of excellence. The university community also expressed its heartfelt appreciation for Dr. Molao’s unwavering support and visionary leadership, which continue to inspire SKSU’s commitment to sports, student development, and institutional success. Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammad Isa S. Usman, Director for Sports, was acknowledged for his role in guiding and mentoring the athletes throughout the competition. This celebration also reflects SKSU’s alignment with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing unity, collaboration, and excellence among Mindanao’s state universities and colleges.
