Tacurong City – Earlier today, Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) officially strengthened its commitment to academic excellence and professional development as it signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) to provide scholarship opportunities for graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) program. The partnership aims to support SKSU BS Accountancy graduates by granting scholarship programs for CPALE review, easing the financial burden of review expenses and increasing their chances of success in the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE).
The MOA signing ceremony was attended by university officials headed by University President Dr. Samson L. Molao, and the representatives from Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) headed by Ms. Helena L. Valdez, CPA, GACPA National Director – Mindanao who represented Atty. Eugenio R. Dizon, CPA, GACPA President. During the event, both institutions emphasized their shared goal of producing competent, ethical, and globally competitive certified public accountants. University President Dr. Samson L. Molao, emphasized in his message that “SKSU remains committed to providing quality education, strong ethical formation, and a learning environment that prepares our scholars not only to succeed but to serve.”
This MOA signing reflects SKSU’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By providing scholarship support for BS Accountancy graduates, the partnership promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for the graduates. At the same time, the collaboration between SKSU and GACPA exemplifies the importance of strong institutional partnerships in advancing educational outcomes and professional development.
