Under the heat of summer sun, Sultan Kudarat State University Inter-Campus Games 2025 came to an end with a colorful and moving awarding and closing ceremony on April 11 at SKSU-Isulan Campus. The five-day festival, from April 7 to 11, brought together students from the seven campuses in a celebration of sportsmanship, artistry, and harmony. Cheering, laughter, and applause rang on the campus grounds as SKSUans gave their all to every event—making this year’s PAGHILI-USA one of the most intense and unforgettable in university history.
The event gave a platform for students to release their untapped talent and express their passion, not only in sports but also in other socio-cultural performances. From the courts to the stage, the energy was on overdrive as the students played their hearts out, not only to win medals but to capture the love and support of their fellow students and the attention of the university’s top officials, including SKSU President Dr. Samson L. Molao, EdD. The thrill was very much felt as crowds exploded in wonder and exhilaration at each performance and win, forging a sense of harmony and pride among all participating campuses.
Emerging as the undisputed overall champion in both the Sports and Socio-Cultural Competitions was ACCESS Campus, whose student-athletes and performers consistently topped the rest. Tacurong Campus claimed 1st runner-up in the sports category, with Isulan Campus as 2nd runner-up. Kalamansig, Lutayan, Palimbang, and Bagumbayan Campuses completed the standings in that order. Meanwhile, in the socio-cultural competition, the same top three emerged—ACCESS Campus as grand champion, Tacurong Campus as 1st runner-up, and Isulan Campus as 2nd runner-up—and were followed by Kalamansig, Lutayan, Bagumbayan, and Palimbang.
In the closing program, President Molao professed his pride and gratitude for the hard work and commitment of the SKSUans. He congratulated the winners and offered words of encouragement to those who did not make it to the top, assuring them that their efforts did not go unnoticed. He also emphasized that the success of the Inter-Campus Games 2025 proves that the university can stage even bigger events in the future, like the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) competitions.
As the sun set on the final day, the SKSU Inter-Campus Games 2025 concluded—but its impact resonates far beyond the applause and cheer. More than medals and standing, the event lit a spirit of unity, resilience, and pride among SKSUans. It reminded everyone that greatness is not only defined by victory, but by the courage to compete, the passion to perform, and the determination to rise again. With this resounding triumph, SKSU stands prouder and stronger—ready to compete on bigger stages and shine brighter in the years to come.
