CHEDRO12 and RQAT Evaluate Three SKSU-Tacurong Campus Programs for COPC

In adherence to standards and quality assurance, Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) Tacurong Campus successfully completed the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) evaluation conducted by CHED Region XII and the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) on June 11, 2024. The evaluation covered three programs: BS in Management Accounting, BS in Tourism Management, and BS in Environmental Science. The evaluation process aimed to ensure these programs fully comply with the policies, standards, and guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). It also sought to verify that the academic programs offer quality education, a conducive learning environment, and superior institutional services for stakeholders.

Present during the evaluation were Dr. Genaro R. Andres, OIC Supervising Education Program Specialist, and CHEDRO12 Education Supervisor II, Engr. Jhan Jkem B. Fontanilla, MSCE (in charge of the Environmental Science Program), and Ms. Leah S. Manan-og (in charge of BSMA and BSTM Programs). The Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) included Dr. Liezle B. Coronica for the BS Environmental Science, Dr. Maria Regina Carlos for the BS in Management Accounting, and Glenna N. Arias, MBA-TRM, for the BS in Tourism Management.

The University extends its sincere gratitude to the CHEDRO12 officials and the RQAT members who meticulously evaluated the administration, faculty, curriculum, library, physical facilities and equipment, laboratory, support services, University manuals, and research areas of the three programs.

Special thanks to the entire team of the BS in Tourism Management, headed by Chairperson Renato De la Cruz, Jr., MBA, the BS in Management Accounting, led by Chairperson Denmark Dizo, CPA, and the BS in Environmental Science, headed by Chairperson Carilyn Salanio-Martin, MSERM. Additionally, SKSU acknowledges the support and commitment of the Campus Director and Deans throughout the evaluation process.

This successful and productive evaluation underscores the University’s commitment to excellence in securing the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science programs. It demonstrates the University’s continuous strive to achieve high standards and become a generator of solutions for the community.
