In a bid to uphold and enhance quality standards in education and organizational management, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office XII spearheaded a benchmarking activity focused on the Philippine Quality Award (PQA). This significant event took place today at the Sultan Kudarat State University, drawing key figures from both institutions.

Leading the charge from the DOST Regional Office XII was Engr. Normina P. Pahm, the Chief for Technical Services Division, whose vision for elevating standards of excellence in various sectors has been paramount. Joining her were officials from the office, all poised to exchange insights and best practices with their counterparts at the university.

Dr. Jesusa D. Ortuoste, OIC President, represented Sultan Kudarat State University, showcasing the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to quality benchmarks. Alongside her, members of the University Quality Assurance Division actively participated, demonstrating their dedication to fostering excellence within the academic sphere.

The benchmarking session, headed by Dr. Helen Espartero, University PQA Chairperson, encompassed discussions on the core principles of the Philippine Quality Award, emphasizing strategies for organizational enhancement, performance excellence, and sustainable development.
