Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat – On November 4, 2025, the Climate Change Adaptation-Disaster Risk Reduction Management Center conducted a Hazard Risk Assessment at SKSU Kalamansig Campus. University President Dr. Samson L. Molao personally led the activity, joined by Disaster Risk Reduction Director Manshur A. Luna, MIT, and General Services Director Wilbert A. Cabanban.
The team inspected the campus to identify hazards and assess the condition of all buildings, including classrooms, offices, pathways, and other facilities. This proactive measure aims to strengthen disaster preparedness, ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff, and prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. The assessment also supports the development of a resilient and sustainable campus that can maintain learning and operations during emergencies.
This activity reflects SKSU’s alignment with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), as it fosters health and well-being, ensures quality and safe education and builds resilient infrastructures.
