Place of Assignment: Project on ‘Scaling up Bungulan Banana & Taro-based Enterprise in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato

Duties and Functions:

  • Assist in scaling up the production capacity of Bungulan bananas and taro-based products;
  • Enhance processing protocols and product quality to meet market requirements and comply with quality and safety standards;
  • Support the improvement of technical and entrepreneurial management capacities for LASIWFA;
  • Facilitate the increase in production of Bungulan banana and taro-based products;
  • Expand and strengthen market linkages with distributors outside South Cotabato;
  • Conduct fieldwork and collect data for research projects;
  • Prepare reports and documentation for project progress and completion;
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders for project implementation.

Qualification:

  • Must be a graduate of BS in Food Science and Technology, BS in Agribusiness, Economics, or a related field;
  • Must have research experience related to food processing, product quality enhancement, or market expansion is an advantage;
  • Must have relevant certifications or training in food processing, quality control, or market development.
