Inter-Agency Collaboration Meeting on Halal Programs Held at SKSU

August 22, 2025 – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) hosted an Inter-Agency Collaboration Meeting on Halal Programs at the QMS Conference Hall, ACCESS Campus, EJC Montilla, Tacurong City.

The program formally opened with a welcome message from University President Samson L. Molao, EdD, followed by the presentation of the NICER Program delivered by Cyril John A. Domingo, PhD, Director of the Institute of Food Innovation and Nutrition.

In his message, Ustadz Rashid Midzapak, Chairperson of the SK Halal Council, emphasized the importance of strengthening halal programs in the region. He was joined by Reynaldo Bernal, Technical Education Specialist from TESDA XII, who expressed the agency’s commitment to supporting halal-related training and skills development.

The event concluded with an open forum, where participants exchanged ideas and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing halal initiatives through collaborative efforts.

This inter-agency collaboration supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being by promoting safe and quality food systems, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening linkages among institutions for sustainable development.
