A wave of hope and inspiration brewed across the country as NESCAFE Philippines launched its heartwarming advocacy, “Gisingin ang Mundo: Tasa ng Pag-asa”, reaffirming its commitment to awaken the Filipino spirit through education, empowerment, and shared purpose.
In a momentous event attended by student leaders and university officials from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), NESCAFE awarded ₱10 million worth of educational assistance to deserving students enrolled in Agriculture and allied programs, including scholars from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU).
The initiative underscores NESCAFE’s belief that every cup of coffee can spark change — empowering the youth to cultivate not just the land, but also their dreams for a better, more sustainable future.
SKSU President Dr. Samson L. Molao expressed his deep appreciation for the program, stating:
“This partnership gives our students a true tasa ng pag-asa — a cup of hope that awakens their potential to transform agriculture into a modern, sustainable, and innovative industry. We thank NESCAFE for investing in the future of our farmers and leaders.”
The beneficiaries from SKSU’s College of Agriculture and other participating SUCs will receive financial support to assist in their academic journey and community-based projects promoting agripreneurship and local sustainability.
