Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat — Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) has reached a historic milestone: all sixty-five (65) of its undergraduate programs have now been granted the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
As defined in CHED Memorandum Order No. 14, Series of 2019, otherwise known as the “Policies and Guidelines in the Issuance of COPC to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs),” the COPC is an official recognition that a specific degree program is fully compliant with the Commission’s prescribed policies, standards, and guidelines. It serves as both a quality assurance measure and a mark of credibility for academic programs.
This 100% COPC compliance confirms that every undergraduate program across SKSU’s campuses meets CHED’s rigorous academic and institutional quality standards — a proud achievement that reflects the University’s commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning.
The achievement spans SKSU’s various campuses at ACCESS (Main), Isulan, Tacurong, Bagumbayan, Kalamansig, Lutayan, and Palimbang and includes a diverse set of programs in fields such as education, agriculture, business, engineering, health sciences, information technology, and arts.
This milestone aligns with the University’s vision of being “a leading university in advancing scholarly innovation, multi-cultural convergence, and responsive public service in a borderless region.” It also reinforces its institutional maxim: Generator of Solutions.
Backed by the collective effort of its administration under the leadership of University President Samson L. Molao, as well as the faculty members, administrative staff, students, and stakeholders, SKSU now moves forward with renewed determination to sustain academic excellence, pursue innovation, and uphold its role as a beacon of educational development in higher education.
