Under the CHED Memorandum Order No. 09, series of 2023, otherwise known as the “Revised Policies and Guidelines on the Issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs),” the Sultan Kudarat State University-Bagumbayan Campus underwent evaluation for the application of COPC for the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Agri-fishery Arts on July 23, 2024. The team was warmly welcomed by Dr. Paul Ryan L. Oñas, the Campus Director of the SKSU-Bagumbayan Campus, together with the faculty and staff.
The team evaluated eight areas, which included Administration, Faculty, Curriculum, Library, Laboratory, Admission and Retention Policies, Compliance of HEI, and Other Facilities. The evaluation team was composed of representatives from CHEDRO XII, including Dr. Zohrahaydah N. Panawidan, the OIC-Chief Education Program Specialist, and Ms. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto, Education Supervisor II, along with members from the RQAT, namely Dr. Anita Sornito and Dr. Samsiya Ibrahim. Mr. Rodel A. Mohamad, the QMS Director of SKSU, together with his staff, assisted the team. After evaluating documents from different areas, the team conducted an ocular visit to the laboratories and the externally funded research and extension projects of the campus.
During the closing program, the team presented the results and findings of the evaluation, during which Ms. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto of CHEDRO XII initially pronounced that all areas had complied with the requirements based on the standards and evidence presented during the evaluation. With the desire to deliver quality education, SKSU Bagumbayan, with the full support of the Administration, is fully committed to strengthening the academic programs offered by the institution. It is hoped that the issuance of a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the BTLEd program will be granted promptly.
