January 9, 2023, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Province of Sultan Kudarat Board members unanimously approved the resolution to establish the College of Medicine in the SKSU-ACESS Campus. With Steadfast determination to pursue this, Sultan Kudarat Congresswoman Princess Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran filed this resolution to be a house bill 6771 in the 19th Congress, First Regular Session.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COLLEGE OF MEDICINE IN THE SULTAN KUDARAT STATE UNIVERSITY, PROVINCE OF SULTAN KUDARAT, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SULTAN KUDARAT STATE UNIVERSITY – COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE
On her official Facebook page, the young and beautiful Congresswoman informed everyone that she has submitted the bill on the “Sultan Kudarat State University College of Medicine Act”. This is the establishment of the College of Medicine at Sultan Kudarat State University. This is one of the ideals of the good Governor Datu Pax Ali S. Mangudadatu to have a College of Medicine in the Province.
This legislation aims to shape and create doctors who can help the nation’s health care system. The law also provides scholarships and other programs to help poor but deserving students of this school. This bill is also important to address the shortage of doctors in the province and neighboring provinces.
