SKSU AB Economics Student Researchers Garner Top Accolades at 2024 National Virtual Research Forum

In a victory for academic excellence and research, AB Economics students from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) distinguished themselves at the 2024 National Virtual Research Forum. Hosted by the esteemed Asian Society of Researchers, Educators, and Inventors, Inc. from May 10-12, 2024. The forum provided a platform for showcasing distinctive research and collaborative efforts aimed at community extension and academic advancement across the Philippines.

Among the standout achievers were Jose Emmanuel Aureo, under the guidance of his research adviser Joemarie A. Pono, MS, clinched the title of “Best Research Presentation” under the Discipline of Discoveries and Applications and Mary An Talamor, under the mentorship of Cris John Bryan C. Dela Cruz, LPT, Ph.D., was awarded “Best Research Abstract” under the Discipline of Learning Academic Performance.

The success of SKSU’s AB Economics students at the 2024 National Virtual Research Forum is a testament to the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation. With 17 economics student researchers and their respective advisers actively participating, SKSU continues to cultivate talent and drive positive change through scholarly endeavors.
