SKSU Awards Outstanding Offices in First Quarter 5S+2 Audit

Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) successfully conducted its First Quarter Internal Audit on the implementation of the 5S+2 Program across its seven campuses from June 23 to July 2, 2025. The initiative reaffirmed the university’s commitment to quality, discipline, safety, and spirituality through the principles of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety, and Spirit.

Spearheaded by Dr. Rodelyn M. Dalayap, Director for Quality Assurance, and Dr. Dayanara P. Besa, University 5S+2 Chairperson, the audit assessed various offices based on cleanliness, orderliness, documentation, safety measures, and integration of spiritual values in daily operations. The activity also served as a venue for coaching, mentoring, and the exchange of best practices.

The internal audit commenced at the Palimbang Campus on June 23, 2025, followed by simultaneous audits at the Kalamansig and Lutayan campuses on June 24, 2025. On June 25, 2025, two teams evaluated the Isulan Campus, while another team audited Tacurong Campus. ACCESS Campus was assessed on June 27, 2025, by three audit teams, with the final audit conducted at the Bagumbayan Campus on July 2, 2025. Observers and auditors from different campuses participated to ensure objectivity and knowledge sharing throughout the activity.

As a highlight of the initiative, an awarding ceremony was held on July 28, 2025, to recognize offices that excelled in the implementation of the 5S+2 standards. The following offices were acknowledged for their outstanding performance:

The success of the First Quarter Audit reflects SKSU’s sustained efforts to improve institutional processes and create a learning and working environment that upholds efficiency, order, and values-based service. Moving forward, the results and insights from this activity will serve as a foundation for future quality assurance initiatives.
