The Sultan Kudarat State University successfully conducted its Annual Year-End Review and Planning Workshop 2025, a two-day institutional activity that gathered university officials, campus directors, and key personnel to assess accomplishments, address operational concerns, and set priorities for the upcoming year.
The event served as a vital venue for evaluating the progress of the University Strategic Plan 2023 to 2027, ensuring that programs and initiatives remain aligned with SKSU’s vision of providing quality education, advancing research and extension, and promoting transparent and effective governance.
On the first day, the sessions featured the presentation of institutional performance and sectoral reports led by the university’s vice presidents including Dr. Marites B. Java, Vice-President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Badu M. Panimbang, Vice-President for Research, Development, and Extension; and Dr. Reynado H. Dalayap Jr., Vice-President for Finance, Administration, and Resource Generation. Each division shared its 2025 accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and proposed plans for 2026.
On the second day, the discussion focused on the presentation of plans and targets by Major Final Outputs (MFOs). University President Dr. Samson L. Molao joined the sessions, taking part in the discussions and providing valuable insights to strengthen the implementation of institutional goals and ensure alignment with the university’s long-term vision.
The workshop concluded with the consolidation of reports and recommendations that will serve as a blueprint for SKSU’s continued pursuit of academic excellence, innovation, and sustainability. The activity underscores the university’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through evidence-based planning, collaboration, and performance-driven governance.
