SKSU Conducts Phase II Training for ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Tacurong City – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) successfully conducted the Phase II – Implementation and Training for ISO 9001:2015 Certification on March 12-14, 2025, at the 3rd Floor Multi-purpose Conference Hall, Administration Building, SKSU ACCESS Campus.

The training program, aimed at strengthening the university’s quality management system, covered Awareness and Documentation Training Program on the first and second day, focusing on Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Revised Procedures. On the third day, participants engaged in the Risk and Opportunity Training Workshop, which included the formation of the Risk Register, SWOT analysis, and integration of attachments in the Quality Manual.

The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Rodelyn M. Dalayap, Director for Quality Assurance, alongside University ISO Chairperson Dr. Elmer C. Buenavides. The training was facilitated by ISO Consultant Khen O. David, ensuring that participants gained a comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and compliance strategies.

With the full support of University President Dr. Samson L. Molao, key officials, department heads, and office heads actively participated in the training. Their engagement reflected the institution’s strong commitment to achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification, which aims to enhance the university’s operational efficiency and service delivery.

This training marks a significant milestone in SKSU’s journey toward achieving international quality standards, reinforcing its dedication to continuous improvement and excellence in higher education.
