December 12, 2025 — The second day of Sultan Kudarat State University’s (SKSU) University-Wide Revision of the Citizen’s Charter and Reorientation on Republic Act 11032 continued at Sage Hall, Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City, bringing together university officials and campus leaders to sustain the momentum of strengthening transparent, efficient, and accountable public service.
The session opened with the Synthesis of Day 1 delivered by Hassanal P. Abusama, Director for Student Records and Admission, who highlighted the key insights and commitments established during the initial discussions on good governance and service excellence.
This was followed by Rodel A. Mohamad, Assistant Director for Quality Assurance and University ARTA Chairperson, who presented the Revised Citizen’s Charter (2025, 1st Edition). His presentation outlined updated process flows, streamlined service procedures, and enhanced compliance mechanisms aligned with RA 11032. An open forum followed, enabling participants to raise clarifications, provide feedback, and align their respective unit processes with the revised charter.
Rodelyn M. Dalayap, PhD, Director for Quality Assurance, then presented the Accomplishment Report of the Anti-Red Tape Unit, highlighting the university’s progress in improving service efficiency, reducing bureaucratic delays, and strengthening client-focused service delivery across campuses.
A significant part of the program was the delivery of the Words of Commitment by the campus leadership. Key officials who shared their pledges included Jonathan P. Roque, PhD; Kendantun L. Tago, MAT; Fahad A. Salendab, PhD; and Jeannie A. Romano, PhD, who spoke as the respective Campus Directors of Lutayan, Palimbang, Kalamansig, and Tacurong campuses. Charlie J. Maghanoy, EdD, delivered the message on behalf of the Isulan Campus Director. Their unified commitment underscored the university’s collective effort to strengthen accountability, enhance service excellence, and advance transparent governance across all SKSU campuses.
The second day concluded with the Awarding of Certificates to the presenters and participants, followed by the Closing Remarks of Dr. Rodelyn M. Dalayap, who expressed her gratitude for the active involvement of all units and emphasized the importance of sustaining the reforms initiated during the reorientation.
Day 2 further strengthened the groundwork laid on the opening day, reinforcing SKSU’s university-wide dedication to good governance and contributing to the advancement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through its commitment to efficient, transparent, and people-centered public service.
