Tacurong City – The Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) successfully conducted the distribution of scholarship allowances on February 10, 2026 under the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grants-In-Aid for Higher Education Program (ACEF-GIAHEP) and the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP). The activity was headed by the SKSU President, Dr. Samson L. Molao, as part of the University’s continuing commitment to support access to quality and inclusive higher education.

A total amount of One Million Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (₱1,016,500.00) was distributed to qualified undergraduate and graduate students who complied with the academic and documentary requirements of the scholarship programs. The financial assistance is intended to help scholars address their educational needs, including tuition-related expenses, learning materials, and other essential academic costs.

The distribution underscores SKSU’s active role in the effective implementation of government-funded scholarship programs in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Through ACEF-GIAHEP and CMSP, the University continues to support students in agriculture-related, priority, and merit-based academic programs, contributing to human capital development and national growth. The successful release of the scholarship allowances was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the University administration and concerned offices, ensuring transparency, accountability, and the timely delivery of financial support to deserving scholars. SKSU remains steadfast in its mission to empower learners and enable them to pursue academic excellence and meaningful contributions to society.
