Joice Nieles, a Pre-Service Teacher of the Bachelor of Technical- Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) in SKSU- Isulan Campus has made waves in the teaching community by clinching the championship title in the Research Presentation Contest at the PAFTE RXII Students’ Congress 2024. Her stellar performance is a testament to her dedication and commitment to excellence in the teaching profession.
The theme of the congress, “Professionalism and Ethical Standard in Teaching: Preparing Pre-Service Teachers in the Real World of Work,” underscores the significance of maintaining high standards in the teaching profession. Joice’s victory shines a spotlight on her remarkable skills and unwavering passion for teaching.
Competing against representatives from seven other schools including SKSU, SKEI, NDTC, SMIT, VMC, NDSC, and SCMCST, Joice emerged as the undisputed champion, showcasing her exceptional talents and knowledge.
Joice’s success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of SKSU Isulan Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Elmer C. Buenavides, and the guidance of her research advisers, Dr. Mildred F. Accad and Dr. Charlie J. Maghanoy. The constant encouragement from College Dean, Dr. Abraham Accad and the Industrial Technology Family also played a crucial role in her journey to victory.
