SKSU Unveils Resto Bus at Isulan Campus

April 7, 2025 – Sultan Kudarat State University officially launched the SKSU Resto Bus through a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the Isulan Campus, showcasing the university’s commitment to innovation and practical learning.

Spearheaded by the College of Industrial Technology, the Resto Bus is a mobile food service project designed to give students real-life training in culinary arts and entrepreneurship, while offering affordable and quality meals to the SKSU community.

The program began with a brief introduction by Ms. Jena Mae Valerio, who shared the inspiration behind the project and its educational benefits.

Following the introduction, University President Dr. Samson L. Molao delivered an inspirational message, praising the initiative as a model of creativity and student-centered learning. He also emphasized the importance of equipping students with relevant skills for the real world.

Engr. Rommel Lagumen, Isulan Campus Director, also shared an encouraging message, expressing his full support for the project and commending the College of Industrial Technology for its dedication to innovation and excellence.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), the SKSU Resto Bus promotes inclusive and sustainable industrial development by integrating innovation into education and providing infrastructure that supports entrepreneurship and skill-building.

The SKSU Resto Bus is now officially open, serving not just food, but also opportunity, experience, and innovation for the university community.
