November 12, 2025 – Sultan Kudarat State University warmly welcomes the esteemed delegates from Makilala Institute of Science and Technology for their Research Benchmarking Activity held at SKSU-ACCESS Campus. University President Dr. Samson L. Molao and Dr. Badu M. Panimbang, the Vice President for Research, Development, Extension, and Innovation, formally welcomed the delegation alongside university officials and research personnel. The visiting team was led by Dr. Analyn C. Quitalig, OIC Director for Research, with Dr. Romulo Cenna, Research Consultant, and supported by research coordinators, statistician, and members of the research committee.
This benchmarking activity serves as a valuable platform for academic exchange as it promotes collaboration and sharing of best practices in research management, innovation, and institutional development. Both institutions are committed and united in their goal to improve research capabilities and contribute to the growth of higher education in the region.
This collaborative activity reaffirms the University’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals particularly, SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by promoting access to quality research and academic advancement, strengthening institutional capacities in research and innovation, and fostering collaboration and mutual learning among higher education institutions.
