Tacurong City – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) conducted the Review and Drafting of New Provisions of the Research, Extension, and Innovation Operation Manual on September 16–17, 2026, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Administration Building, ACCESS Campus. The two-day activity brought together concerned university units and university key officials to review existing provisions and develop updated guidelines that will further strengthen the implementation of the University’s research, extension, and innovation programs and initiatives.
The event formally commenced with a Welcome Message from Dr. Mildred F. Accad, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation, who underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing the University’s policies and operational mechanisms in research, extension, and innovation.
This was followed by a Message of Support from University President Atty. Cyrus E. Torrena, DPA, MNSA, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Elvie V. Diaz. The message highlighted the University’s continued commitment to supporting initiatives that advance research, extension, and innovation as integral components of SKSU’s mission and institutional development.
Throughout the two-day activity, participants engaged in discussions, reviews, and drafting sessions focused on refining and developing provisions for the Research, Extension, and Innovation Operation Manual. The activity concluded with the presentation of outputs by the different participating units, showcasing the results of their collaborative work and discussions during the activity.
The successful conduct of the activity marks another significant step toward strengthening SKSU’s institutional policies and mechanisms in research, extension, and innovation.
