Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) was recognized as a member of the SUN Academe Regional Convenor in Region XII during the 2026 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony held on September 17, 2026, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.
The recognition highlights SKSU’s active partnership and continuing efforts in promoting good nutrition and supporting the goals of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition in the region. The award was received by Grace R. Pedrola, RN, MNE, SKSU’s focal person for SUN Academe.
The recognition marks another meaningful step in SKSU’s commitment to promoting nutrition, health, wellness, and community service. Through its continued advocacy, the University contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by supporting initiatives that encourage healthier and more nourished communities.
