August 23, 2022, Department of Science and Technology undersecretary Engr. Sancho M. Mabborang leads the ribbon cutting and opening of the Region 12 Food Innovation Center at Sultan Kudarat State University Isulan Campus. Together with him is the kind and dedicated University President Dr. Samson L. Molao, who warmly welcomed the guests and visitors. Engr. Sammy P. Malawan, DOST -XII Regional Director and Zenaida Guiano, DOST Provincial Director also graced the occasion.
The said occasion was facilitated by the Research Development and Extension Division headed by the Vice-President of Research Development and Extension Dr. Julie E. Albano and Prof. Cyril John A. Domingo, the Director of Complimentary Food Production and Food Innovation Centers of SKSU.
“Food innovation Center equipment must not be part of the research endeavor only, but use the FIC equipment as part of teaching education so that students can learn from the equipment that seen only before in the Industry and FIC in SKSU will also contribute to product development and Innovation.” -Engr.Mabborang
