Sultan Kudarat State University celebrated the first National Higher Education Day and the CHED 27th Founding Anniversary on May 17, 2021. The Resource Generation Division and Research Development and Extension Divisions, headed by the Vice-President for RD&E, Dr. Julie E. Albano, and Dr. Rosita T. Rizaldo, Director for IGP, spearheaded the celebration.
The SKSU Business Center launching was fused to make the celebration memorable. It was participated by selected partner agencies, like DTI, DA, and DOST representatives, they expressed their commitment to strengthen the Small Medium Enterprise with the Incubates of the university.
The University President Dr. Rolando F. Hechanova, Dr. Albano, Ms. Zenaida D. Guiano, and Ms. Felisa Sinubago lead the ribbon-cutting, followed by an open house for food tasting and giveaways.
Dr. Siony S. Brunio, the director for extension, graciously ended the occasion.
The first National Higher Education Day was themed, PADYAK! Moving Forward, Claiming Victory for Philippine Higher Education.
