MOA Signing between Sultan Kudarat State University and Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 12 (RACU 12)

On May 7, 2024, Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) formalized a strategic partnership with the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 12 (RACU 12) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony. The event took place at the Administration Building, Board Room of SKSU, signifying a collaborative effort to enhance cybersecurity education and awareness within the region.

Representing RACU 12 were PLTCOL Alvin M. Martin, OIC-RACU 12, PEMS Ismael A. Tunggal, PNCO-In-Charge, SKPCRT, and their team, including PMSg Eleonor M. Castromayor, PSSg Jhon-Rey Tumbaga, PAT Wilnar John D. Delos Santos, and PAT Crizah Jane B. Panaguiton.

The SKSU representatives were led by the OIC-President, Dr. Jesusa D. Ortuoste, alongside Mary Lynn G. Magbanua, PhD, Vice President for Research & Extension, Florlyn Mae C. Remegio, Project Extension Leader, and Alex N. Remegio, Project Extension Co-Leader.

This partnership aims to strengthen cybersecurity education through training programs, resource sharing, and collaborative initiatives. The ceremony marked the beginning of a promising collaboration focused on equipping educators, students, and the community with the knowledge and skills to combat cybercrime.

The MOA signing was followed by a brief celebration where both parties interacted and shared their vision for future projects. The University is very excited about this partnership and looks forward to the impactful initiatives ahead!
