OVPRDE

The Office of the Vice President for Research Development and Extension is headed by the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, designated by the University President and confirmed by the Board of Regents.  It is directly responsible for carrying out the research, extension an development policies and programs of the university. It formulates, implements, monitors and evaluates institutional policies to strengthen the research, extension and production functions of the university. The Officers under  the VPRDE : Director for Research & Development, Chairman-RD & E External Linkages, Chairperson, Research, Development & Extension Monitoring and Evaluation, Chairperson Publication and Communication, Chairperson Research Management Information Services (RMIS), College Commodity Teams (CCT), and Research and Technology Working Group (RTWG). The Centers under the VPRDE: Aqua-Marine Center, Halal R&D Center, Climate Change Center, Disaster and Risk-Reduction Management Center and Biodiversity Center.
