President Samson L. Molao sets foot at the coastal area campuses of SKSU
After the successful visit of Dr. Samson L. Molao at the Kalamansig campus, the president traversed the long and winding road of Palimbang Sultan Kudarat to personally meet the Teachers, Students, Staff, and other Stakeholders of the campus. The President officially first visited the SKSU Palimbang campus on August 31, 2022, as they also conducted the culmination of Buwan ng Wika.
With their colorful attires Dr. Allan Jay Cajandig, the Campus Director with his faculty, staff, and students cheerfully welcomed the President and his team. They cut short their program to listen to the message of the new president. In his message, the President expressed first his gratitude for the warm welcome given to him. He then conveyed his commitment to the campus emphasizing the one brand and sharing of resources (facility and human) of the University. “No one should be deprived of the quality and service of the university,” he said. He also encouraged students to study hard and dispel negative traits such as the attitude of “mamaya na habit, pwede na and bahala na” he simply emphasizes that one should exert effort, act immediately, and work excellently as a student to attain success.
The President committed to build the campus gymnasium to improve students’ activity in both sports and socio-cultural to be competitive with other SKSU campuses. He also informed everyone that the university is in the process of making it a smart campus, which Palimbang campus can also avail. Further, he shared his plan to support the review of students to pass the board examination through a partnership with top caliber review center to assure a high passing rate. The president committed the aforementioned things because he wanted that everyone should be with him to uplift the marginalized community. Lastly, Mr. Barsis Taya, the Alumni President, expressed also his support for the Administration and the University as a whole.
The president was accompanied by the Vice-president for Administration and Finance, Dr. Reynaldo H. Dalayap, Jr., Student Regent Jules Kenn Catane, and other key officials. With high hopes and courage, the President went home full of happiness and plans for SKSU.
