SKSU celebrates 11th University Day | “Trailing Towards the Beacon of Excellence”
Sultan Kudarat State University celebrated its 11th University Day celebration on January 18, 2021 at Multi Purpose Hall, ACCESS Campus , Tacurong City. It is a one day celebration packed with interesting activities. It was virtually participated by students, faculty and staff .Selected key officials were physically invited and safety protocols were observed.
The celebration started with a motorcade and a holy mass officiated by Fr. Diosdado Esguera, DCC, followed by the opening program. The said celebration was graced by Dir. Jude Constantine S. Jaugan, DTI Region XII Director as the speaker, and was equally represented by Dir. Melissa E. Sinubagon.
To make the celebration more enticing, Human Resource Management Office spearheaded the giving of awards to the faculty who made exemplary effort for the University .Faculty who finished their doctorate degree on time were also recognized.
The celebration was heighted by the launching of Philippine Quality Award (PQA) a new milestone of the university to engage on its 11th year.
In the afternoon, students, faculty and staff joined the exciting competitions like tiktok challenge, out of tune competition, Katuwaan Online challenge , poster making, quarantalk, and University next top model.
Dr. Julie E. Albano, PhD, the Vice-President for Research Development and Extension was equally represented by Christine P. Abo, PhD, Vice-President for Academics ended graciously the occasion.
