TACURONG CITY. The Sultan Kudarat State University has implemented an alternative work arrangement (AWA) with 50 percent capacity and suspended on-site transactions for its clientele in the ACCESS, Tacurong and Isulan Campus.
Dr. Rolando F. Hechanova, university president, has issued Memorandum No. 081, series of 2021 on June 11 for the Adoption and Implementation of the Civil Service Commission’s Memorandum Circular No. 18, series of 2020 on the Amendment to the Revised Interim Guidelines on Alternative Work Arrangement (ARIGAWA) during the Pandemic.
The AWA applies to all personnel in the University whose nature of work suits the arrangement, as provided in Memorandum No. 81, series of 2021.
With this, only half of SKSU personnel in the said three campuses will physically report at a time. The other half are on work from home (WFH) arrangement. All campus directors and division heads were instructed to monitor and ensure essential routine tasks and the delivery of services to stakeholders are not hampered.
Those assigned to report on-site were mandated to wear all protective equipment available face masks and face shields while inside of the three campuses. The university has also ordered disinfection procedures, limited physical inter-office transactions, and allowed no on-site gatherings/meetings.
The University also suspended all on-site or physical transactions by visitors and its clients in the main campus starting June 14, 2021 “until further notice”. The Province of Sultan Kudarat is currently under the General Community Quarantine from June 14 to June 30, 2021 and the Local Government Unit of Tacurong latest advisory cited the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the locality.
