Sultan Kudarat State University headed by its President Rolando F. Hechanova, RPAE, Ph.D. is in great joy and gratitude that the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education, Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III, DPA visited SKSU as CHED ROXII conducted the “Kamustahanay Kag Panagstoryahay” with Chairman J De Vera on July 24, 2021, at SKSU Multipurpose Hall, 3rd Floor, Administration Bldg. EJC Montilla, Tacurong City.
This activity is part of the CHED year-long campaign of declaring the victories of higher education and the celebration of the 1st National Higher Education Day and its 27th Founding Anniversary.
The visit was attended by CHED ROXII officials headed by the Director IV of CHED ROXII, Nelia A. Alibin, Ph.D., Maria Teresa L. Samonte, Ed.D., Chief Administrative Officer, CHED, ROXII Jonaib M. Usman, Ed.D,, Chief Education Program Specialist, and other CHED ROXII officers and Staff.
Atty. Ryan L. Estevez, MA, Rel. Ed, MPP, graced the occasion as one of the guests of honor. Respected Key officials of Sultan Kudarat and nearby municipalities take part on the momentous occasion of the University.
The visit was highlighted and delighted by the amiable CHED Chairman, Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III, DPA, also gave his inspirational message, a message of hope that despite this pandemic, there is still a reason to move forward to claim victory.
This year’s celebration commemorates a significant milestone for CHED which has accomplished several groundbreaking undertakings amidst the challenging circumstances brought by the CoVID-19 pandemic.
