Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) together with six other state universities and colleges in Region 12 joined the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) Fair 2023 in SM City, Iloilo on July 10-13, 2023.
Initiated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the SUC FAIR aims to recognize the invaluable contributions of stakeholders throughout the country in advancing higher education, research and development.
This activity is hosted by selected SUCs and is celebrated annually. This year, the SUC FAIR is hosted by the Western Visayas State University (WVSU) in Iloilo City.
SUC Fair also highlights the celebration of CHED anniversary with a focus on exploring strategies for navigating the global landscape through innovations, cultural and arts preservation, and higher education quality.
SKSU President – Dr. Samson L. Molao together with his key officials personally attended the 3-day activity as SKSU leads 6 other state universities and colleges namely, University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST), Cotabato State University (CotSU), Mindanao State University – General Santos (MSU) and South Cotabato State College (SCSC) to represent Region 12.
One of the highlights of the activity is the Booth Exhibit in SM City – Iloilo where all regions and schools showcase and demonstrate their innovations, culture, and products.
Other activities include Digital Arts Competition, Cultural Show, Vlog Competition, Search for Mr. and Ms. SUC Fair 2023 and more.
The theme for this year’s SUC FAIR is “Navigating the Global Landscape through Innovations, Cultural and Arts Preservation and Higher Education Quality.”
