Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) officially commenced its five-day virtual accreditation survey on October 5, 2026, covering 10 academic programs across five campuses. Conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), the online survey will run until October 9 and aims to assess, validate, and strengthen the programs’ compliance with established quality assurance standards.

At the SKSU-ACCESS Campus in Tacurong City, the programs under evaluation are the Master in Information Technology, Master of Arts in Educational Management, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Security Management, and Bachelor of Physical Education. Meanwhile, the Kalamansig Campus is undergoing evaluation for its Bachelor of Science in Biology major in Plant Biology, while the Tacurong Campus is presenting its Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.

The survey also covers programs from SKSU’s other campuses, with the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness being evaluated at the Palimbang Campus and the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the Lutayan Campus. The virtual accreditation process includes online document review, interviews, and verification coordinated by designated institutional leads and AACCUP survey teams, providing an external assessment of the programs’ implementation and quality assurance practices.

Under the leadership of University President Atty. Cyrus E. Torrena, DPA, MNSA, and through the University Quality Assurance Office headed by Rodelyn M. Dalayap, PhD, Director for Quality Assurance, SKSU continues to pursue continuous improvement through external assessment and accreditation. The five-day survey visit marks another milestone in the university’s efforts to strengthen academic programs, uphold quality standards, and deliver accessible, high-quality higher education, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
