Sultan Kudarat State University receives the Philippine Quality Award trophy from DTI-Competitiveness Bureau Director Lilian Salonga with the PQA team at CB office on April 5, 2022.The trophy was personally handed to Dr. Julie Albano – Vice President for Research Development and Extension and Dr. Ruby S. Hechanova – Chairperson, Technical Working Group, RD&E.
Sultan Kudarat State University is a recipient of the 2021 Recognition for Proficiency in Quality Management or Level 2. The trophy is made of cold cast bronze, black label seal and brass., according to Jo –Dann N. Darong – Assistant Director, PQA, DTI Competitiveness Bureau. It is design like a torch because it shows the pursuit of excellence in a fire that brighten the path to see and appreciate. Moreover, it takes the form of the torch, a beacon to attract and illuminate the way for quality and excellence. Director Salonga also extended her warmest congratulations to the new achievement of the University, she said “PQA is an award only the best among the best could have.”
