The cadets and cadettes from the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) units of the Sultan Kudarat State University underwent the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) last June 13, 2023, at the SKSU Grandstand, ACCESS Campus.

The RAATI is an annual activity which entails actual inspection of all activated ROTC units in the area operations.

This year, COL JOSE AMBROSIO F RUSTIA MNSA (INF) PA, RAATI Chairman for SY 2022-2023 leads the inspection together with his team of inspectors.

COL RUSTIA and his team paid a courtesy call to the office of Dr. Samson L. Molao – SKSU President before the official inspection activity.

In his speech, President Molao thanked the registrants of the ROTC for voluntarily undergoing military training to practice their civic duties despite the existence of the other components of National Service Training Programs (NSTP).

“You all have voluntarily joined this program, it was not forced into you, which means you have embraced the values of military discipline to perform your duties in the community, and for that I thank you,” said President Molao.

The Turnover of control of the ROTC Unit to the Chairman of the RAATI Team ensued after the speech, which was marked by COL RUSTIA’s receiving of the company colors.

The SKSU-ROTC unit then showcased their long-for-practiced Ceremonial Parade, where they exhibited movements in unison which left the spectators and the inspectors in awe.

After the inspection, the RAATI team together with President Molao proceeded to the University Board Room to present the status of the SKSU-ROTC Unit and to talk about some of the issues of concern.

The results of the inspection will be out in the next few days.
