TACURONG CITY, Sultan Kudarat — Reinforcing local textile modernization and innovation, Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) representative Alexander M. Argame, Jr. successfully presented his capstone proposal titled “Integrated Textile Supply Chain Monitoring and Standardization System for Philippine Tropical Fabrics” on September 30, 2026, at the Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) ACCESS Campus.
Following the presentation at the Board Room, key university officials and delegates—including SKSU Vice President for Finance and Resource Generation Dr. Reynaldo H. Dalayap, SKSU VP-REI Mildred F. Accad, SKSU-MPC Manager Flora C. Daman-Daman, and DOST-PTRI Supervising SRS Engr. Sealinah S. Mercado alongside Senior SRS MC Beatriz O. Bongcawel and technical personnel—conducted an ocular inspection of the campus’s DOST-PTRI Natural Textile Fiber Innovation Hub.
The collaborative event was also attended by technical evaluators and staff, including SRS II Mkr. Badrudin H. Dagadas, PTA I Norabelle M. Anglongat, PTA I Engr. Jan Rey M. Asister, PTA I Aladin E. Oachu, PB I Charles Tristan C. Catangui, and Harold Kuoft Cabutlero. This proposed monitoring and standardization framework aims to bolster the development, tracking, and quality assurance of Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) across the supply chain, further strengthening regional integration and institutional research partnerships between SKSU and DOST-PTRI.
