One University. Seven Campuses. Two Colleges. One Enduring Mission.
As I journeyed across the campuses of Sultan Kudarat State University to confer degrees upon the Graduating Class of 2026, I realized that every commencement address carried a different theme—but all shared one common purpose: to inspire our graduates to become transformative leaders in their communities and beyond.
Allow me to leave you my nine gems of life not merely as your University President, but as a fellow believer in your limitless potential.
for the ACCESS Campus, “Education is your passport, but service is your destination.” Your education finds its highest purpose when it improves the lives of others,
Tacurong Campus, “Innovation begins when courage meets action.” Do not wait for opportunities. Create them. Transform challenges into possibilities.
Isulan Campus, “Integrity is the greatest credential you will ever possess.” A degree may open doors, but integrity keeps those doors open.
Bagumbayan Campus, “Leadership is not about position; it is about responsibility.” Lead by serving, influence by example, and inspire through humility.
Lutayan Campus, “Growth is measured not by what you receive, but by what you contribute.”
Leave every community stronger than you found it.
Graduate School, “Be Generators of Solutions.” Do not merely identify problems. Create solutions that transform institutions and uplift communities.
College of Law, “May your victories never be measured simply by the number of cases you win, but by the number of lives you restore.” Justice reaches its highest purpose when it protects the vulnerable and restores human dignity.
Palimbang Campus, “Be Bridge Builders.” Build bridges between knowledge and action. Build bridges between communities and opportunities. Build bridges among people of different cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.
Kalamansig Campus, “Be Guardians of the Future.” Guard truth. Guard integrity. Guard hope. Remember always that while money may give you a start, it is strategy, character, and service that determine your lasting legacy.
One University. One Legacy.
Although each campus received a different message, together they form one enduring mission:
Think with Strategy.
Lead with Integrity.
Serve with Humility.
Build Bridges.
Generate Solutions.
Guard the Future.
These are more than words. They are a call to action for every graduate of Sultan Kudarat State University.
As I approach the completion of my term as University President, I do not wish to be remembered merely for the buildings we constructed, the programs we launched, or the milestones we achieved.
Rather, I hope to be remembered for the values we cultivated and the lives we inspired.
If every graduate carries these gems of life into your profession, family, community, and nation, then the true legacy of Sultan Kudarat State University will not be found within the walls of our campuses, it will be reflected in the character, service, and leadership of our alumni.
To the Graduating Class of 2026:
Go beyond success.
Be known not only for what you accomplish, but for the lives you transform.
The future is now in your hands.
Go forth and build it with wisdom, courage, integrity, and compassion.
