Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) has once again put an indelible moment to the lives of more than two thousand graduates in the recently concluded 32nd Commencement Exercises last July 15, 2023, at the Sultan Kudarat Cultural and Sports Center, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
The class of 2023 received their diplomas as the culmination and manifestation of all their hard work, determination, grit, and perseverance.
Congresswoman Princess Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran graced the activity as the commencement speaker where she encouraged the graduates to never forget to look back on where they have been and allow it to motivate them to fulfill their dreams and goals in life.
Loud cheers and hurrahs blanketed the stadium as the good congresswoman announced that the graduates will receive two thousand pesos each, as her gift to the graduates in hopes of sparking their motivation and help jumpstart their professional lives.
As a tribute to their Alma Mater, the graduates danced and sang in unison the American Authors’ hit song: Best Day of My Life, where part of the lyric “But all the possibilities, no limits, just epiphanies” encapsulates the would-be driving force of the graduates to take hold of what’s in store for them in the future.
The theme for this year’s commencement exercises is: “Embracing Diversity, Enriching Society: Celebrating the Role of SKSU Graduates in Shaping a Borderless Region”.
