Tacurong City – Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) strengthened its partnership with the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office (SKPPO) and the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and the subsequent oath-taking of new PAGPTD members on September 16, 2026, at the SKSU ACCESS Campus.
Representing SKSU University President Atty. Cyrus E. Torreña, DPA, MNSA was Dr. Elvie V. Diaz, who also serves as Chairman of the PAGPTD. She was joined by Atty. Lennie Ann Cerdana, SKPPO Acting Director PCol Marvin A. Fontalva, members of the PAGPTD and SKPPO, during the MOA signing.
The agreement formalizes the commitment of SKSU, SKPPO, and PAGPTD to work together on programs and initiatives aligned with their respective mandates. It provides a framework for strengthened institutional cooperation and meaningful engagement among the academe, law enforcement, and the community.
Following the MOA signing, an oath-taking ceremony was held for the newly appointed members of the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD). The new members are LTC Lito B Maghuyop (INF) PA, PLTCOL Felix L. Fornan, RET, and Mr. Rodolf John C. Redondo.
The activity reflect SKSU’s continuing commitment to strengthening partnerships that extend beyond the academe and contribute to responsive public service, community development, peace, and institutional cooperation.
Through the MOA signing and the induction of new PAGPTD members, SKSU, SKPPO, and PAGPTD reaffirmed their shared commitment to building stronger institutional partnerships in support of a safer, more engaged, and sustainable Sultan Kudarat community.
